Well, we just returned from Costa Rica last week and overall, it was an enjoyable trip. I'm thinking that I must qualify to be called an adventuress...at least within my circle of friends.
This trip evolved from pre-planning stage eco-lodge trip to Honduras into staying at a beautiful house in the hills of Lake Arenal, Costa Rica. My travel mates included three flight attendants, one pilot, one marketing manager, a dental hygienist, two fifteen-year old girls and my daughter, a Starbucks barista. Oh, and me, a Library Associate.
The funny thing is, none of us really knew each other. Our common denominator, Suzan was due to arrive before most of the others. She was low on the reserve list and her odds were excellent that she would make her jump-seat flight on Saturday morning. But, her airline had other plans for her. They called her Friday night to tell her she was going to London! This was the beginning of our mis-adventure...
